The Erasmus+ Staff program comprises two versions: mobility for teaching missions for teachers (STA) and mobility for training for staff (STT). Within the scope of STA mobility, the programs include the possibility of lecturing and taking part in other activities integrated in the teaching program of the host institution. Within the scope of STT mobility, the programs are aimed at training in areas of interest to the employee.

Students Support

At IPL the students' well-being is a major concern. The Student Support Space is a structure entirely dedicated to students and to the promotion of their well-being throughout their journey with us. In partnership with the Academic Success Committee, specific action sare developed to facilitate a healthy and proactive integration of students in higher education, promoting the psychological well-being of students, academic success and the development of personal, social and professional skills.

For Erasmus+ Incoming Students

  1. Who can apply for the Erasmus+ programme at IPL? 
    Students enrolled in an IPL partner higher education institution, who meet the academic and administrative requirements defined by their home university and the Erasmus+ programme, can apply.

Application Requirements

Incoming students must submit their application to IPL mobility platform. The access link and application manual will be sent by email after nomination.

To see the courses offered in each semester, students should consult the page of each School / Institute.

The academic offer is updated annually in July. Until then, first-semester students will be able to draw up their initial study LA based on the offer from the previous year. Students can change the registration in courses and the LA up to four weeks after the start of the semester.

Selection and nomination by the home university

Students must apply for the mobility program at their home University. Application deadlines and conditions are defined by the home institution, which is responsible for selecting students. Confirm that your University has an agreement with IPL (Erasmus code P LISBOA05) in your field of studies before applying.

Welcome IPL 2025/2026

The Polytechnic University of Lisbon will welcome more than 2,500 national and international students who are joining its academic community in 2025/2026. The 8th edition of Welcome IPL is a joint initiative by the Polytechnic University of Lisbon and FAIPL – Academic Federation of the Polytechnic University of Lisbon, bringing together students, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff from the eight schools that make up IPL.

The event will take place in the afternoon of October 3, 2025, at the Benfica Campus of IPL.
