All international students who do not have Portuguese nationality can apply for the Graduate, Master's (2 Th Cycle) and Post-graduate courses, through the International Student Status.

Licentiate
- Have a Portuguese secondary school diploma or
- Have a legally equivalent habilitation diploma equivalent to Portuguese secondary education or
- Being a holder of a qualification that gives access to higher education, in the country of origin.
Master
Diplomas / habilitations required:
- Being a holder of the degree or legal equivalent or
- Being a holder of a foreign higher academic degree conferred following a 1º cycle of studies organized in accordance with the principles of Bologna by a State adhering to this Process or
- Being a holder of a foreign higher academic degree that is recognized as meeting the degree objectives of the degree of licentiate by the statutory competent scientific body of the higher education institution where he or she intends to be admitted or
- Being holder of a school, scientific or professional curriculum, which is recognized as attesting capacity for realization of this cycle of studies by the statutory competent scientific body of the higher education institution where it intends to be admitted.
Ingress
- Having specific academic qualification in the areas of knowing required for the cycle of studies to which you apply;
- Have level of knowledge B2 of the Portuguese language or other language in which the teaching comes to be delivered;
- Satisfying the prerequisites set for the cycle of studies concerned under the general access and admission scheme in higher education.
