"Super Natural", of Jorge Jácome, licensed in Cinema by the Higher School of Theatre and Cinema (ESTC), won the prize of the International Federation of Film Critics (Fipresci) in the 72 th edition of the Berlinale, which runs until February 20. Pedro Cabeleira, also graduates of the artistic School of the Polytechnic of Lisbon (IPL) had the premiere in the international certame, with the short "By Flávio".

The feature length "Super Natural", has argument from Jorge Jácome, André e. Theodosio, founder of the Teatro Prague and licensed by ESTC, and José Maria Vieira Mendes. The cinematography of the work was in charge of Marta Simões, also graduates in Cinema, by ESTC, branch Image.

The award-winning work is the first feature film of the Jorge Jácomefilmmaker, and premiered, in Berlin, with the presence of the team and the elements of the Danging with the Difference, madeirense professional dance company inclusive.

The synopsis: The synopsis of inclusive dance, geographies, historical curiosities, videoclipes, confessions, and moments of humor "that help to comprehend that the natural," be it from a body or an object, is always more complex than it appears to be ".

The filmmaker formed School of the Polytechnic of Lisbon, he referred, in an interview with Lusa, that the film began for being a project of a stage spectacle of Teatro Prague with the madeirense association of inclusive art "Danging with the Difference", which would premiere in 2020, which did not happen due to the pandemic.

The short film of the realizer formed by the Higher School of Theatre and Cinema had premiere in Berlin, in the Berlinale Shortscompetition.

With argument from Pedro Cabeleira, Ana Vilaça, both formed by ESTC and Diogo Vieira, tells the story of Márcia, a woman who ambitious to succeed, resorting to social networks and to a rendezvous with a famous rapper, and who at the same time tries to overcome the difficulties of being a single mother.

The second-metre of Pedro Caldeira, lasting 27, relies on Leonor Teles in the direction of photography, also she graduates from ESTC and award-winning filmmaker.

It's the second time Pedro Cabeleira marks presence in the international certame. Already in 2017, it was in competition with the feature film "Summer Danado", which received a special mention.

The 72 th edition of the Berlin Film Festival ends on day 20. The prizes of the official competitions were announced on the February 16.
