
Maria Inácia Rezola is an associate professor of modern and contemporary history at the School of Communication & Media Studies (ESCS-IPL) and researcher at the New University of Lisbon’s Institute of Contemporary History (IHC-UNL). She holds a Ph.D. in contemporary political history from UNL (2004).
Her research interests include authoritarianism, political change, democratization and transitional justice in new democracies, church-state relations and media history. Rezola has published several articles and books in Portugal and abroad. Her most recent book is a collective dictionary on the Portuguese revolution of 1974-1975.
